Dr. Noni Hlazo

An experienced data privacy attorney, Dr. Nonhlanhla Hlazo advises clients seeking to develop privacy programs, achieve and maintain compliance, and manage risks. Her expertise extends to third-party vendor management, data subject rights management, privacy awareness training and incident response. 

As a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) under ISACA, Nonhlanhla demonstrates a keen understanding of data anonymization and encryption along with other privacy-enhancing technologies. Additionally, she has completed the Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) training by the IAPP, further solidifying her commitment to protecting clients’ privacy in the era of AI. 

Holding a PhD in International Law and a Master's Degree in Information Technology Law, Nonhlanhla has a valuable depth of legal knowledge pertaining to the right to privacy that provides clients with key insights and expertise. She is passionate about integrating technology and the law to further social justice concerns, clearly reflected in her tireless work ethic and determination.
