Dr. Nonhlanhla Hlazo is an emerging leader in AI governance and data privacy, advising organizations on building privacy programs, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance in an evolving regulatory landscape. With deep expertise in third-party vendor management, data subject rights, privacy-enhancing technologies, and AI governance, she helps businesses navigate the intersection of law, technology, and ethical AI deployment.

As a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) under ISACA, Dr. Hlazo brings a technical understanding of data anonymization, encryption, and other privacy-enhancing technologies that are critical in today’s AI-driven world. She has further expanded her expertise by completing the Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) training with the IAPP, demonstrating her commitment to advancing responsible AI practices and ensuring organizations implement AI solutions with privacy, fairness, and compliance at the forefront.
