Alan Rotenberg

Alan Rotenberg is the Managing Director of BD Emerson’s Technology practice. Alan advises clients on a wide range of matters including technology strategy, project management, cloud computing, data management, and software architecture. An accomplished, hands-on leader with 20 years of experience, Alan has a deep understanding of all aspects necessary to building and running successful teams and projects, including in highly regulated industries. 

Additionally, Alan’s holistic and hands-on approach enables organizations to stay true to their strategic goals and also trace a critical path toward achieving it. Alan has guided many organizations to successfully navigate complex technical, business, and managerial challenges, while adhering to industry best practices and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior to joining BD Emerson, Alan has run technology programs for some of the world’s top financial firms and co-founded tech and software consultancies, serving clients across diverse industries. Alan holds a BA in Mathematics with a minor in Economics as well as a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (‘03).
